Action of Medicine:

Commonly known as stinging nettle, Urt-u. produces stinging or stinging, burning pains. For first degree burns, used locally and given internally.
Bee stings. Urticaria, associated or alternating with rheumatism.
Antidotes ill effects of eating shellfish.
Sunburn with intense burning, itching. Vesicles. Burn confined to skin.
Nettle rash, worse every year in the same season, suppressed nettle rash.
Urticaria nodosa. Urticaria, burning heat with formication, violent itching. Prickly heat. Angio-neurotic edema.
