Action of Medicine:

This remedy has a positive action upon the male and female sexual organs, allaying sexual excitement dependent upon a plethoric condition of the genital organs. There is pronounced sexual exciteent, satyriasis, erotomania and spermatorrhoea dependent upon the above mentioned conditions. It allays the erotic conditions during acute gonorrhoea.
In case of chordee with great irritation, a dose on retiring and possibly one towards morning is of great service, as well as in cases of cystitis, prostatitis and nocturnal emissions, when this neurotic condition is present.
In the female there is nymphomania dependent upon a local irritation, ovarian irritation, congestion and neuralgia when it is accompanied by hysteria and erotomania. It is useful in hysteria with marked excitability, nervousness and globus hystericus.
