Action of Medicine:

• This remedy is indicated in diarrhoea, when the stools are yellow or brown, frothy and profuse. It is attended with tympanitic distension of the abdomen, globus hystericus but there is no flatus passed either up or down.
• It is of service in seborrhoea when the skin is greasy; also in pemphigus without inflammation or pain.
• Nymphomania with aversion to her own sex and to children and sexual insomnia.
• Abdomen tympanitic, hard. No flatus emitted upward or downward.
• Produces pain and stitches in liver and spleen. Increases the bile and salivary secretion.
• Great accumulation and incarceration of flatulence. "Globus" symptoms. Post-operative gas pains.
• Seborrhoea with greasy skin.
