Action of Medicine:

Ictod. is a powerful anti-spasmodic, expectorant, vermifuge, menagogue, sudorific, etc. Spasmodic asthma and coughs. Asthmatic complaints worse by inhalation of dust and relieved by stools. Burning sensations from fauces down throat, enlarged glands of throat, swelling of nose and sneezing, spasmodic cough and skin disorders. Pain in throat while sneezing.
Hysterics. Epilepsy. Erratic and spasmodic pains. Dropsy. Chronic rheumatism. Headache in small spots with throbbing in temporal arteries. Red swelling across the nose. Tongue numb. Abdomen distended. Inclined to smoke, but it does not taste good.
