Action of Medicine:

• Adapted to persons of bilious temperament who suffer from gastro-intestinal derangement especially after abuse of mercury, "bilious attacks." It affects chiefly the duodenum, small intestines, liver and rectum.
• Tongue broad, large, moist. Intense desire to press the gums together.
• Prolapse of rectum before or with stool. Liver region painful, better rubbing part.
• Headache alternating with diarrhoea; headache in winter, diarrhoea in summer. Rolling of head from side to side.
• Thirst for large quantities of cold water.
• Diarrhoea of children: during teething: after eating; while being bathed or washed; of dirty water soaking napkin through; with gagging.
• Fever paroxysm at 7 a.m. with great loquacity during chill and heat.
• Aggravation early morning; in hot weather; during dentition.
