Action of Medicine:

A nerve sedative for treating neuralgia, migraine, insomnia and nervous tension. Insomnia dependent upon nervous excitement, mental worry or anxiety, in elderly patients, neurasthenics, and children.
Excessive restlessness and insomnia. Insomnia due to pain, worry or nervous excitement, it usually produces a quiet, deep sleep.
Dysmenorrhea pains. Pains of irregular menstruation, regulates the flow.
During labor, when the pains are erratic and disturb the patient.
Neuralgias, ovarian or uterine. Neuralgic and spasmodic affections.
Toothaches in decayed teeth.
Spasmodic coughs, especially cough of phthisis. Bronchial catarrhs, bronchitis. Asthma, nervous cough.
