Action of Medicine:

This remedy is indicated for an atonic, relaxed condition of the mucous membrane, but with no inflammatory action, or when the inflammatory process has subsided and a debilitated condition remains with excessive discharges of mucus, serum or blood. It is indicated in passive haemorrhages from different parts of the body. Also in hematuria, when the bleeding is constant and dribbling in character. It is useful in subacute and chronic diarrhoea. It has proven of great service as well in catarrhal gastritis, when associated with a generally lowered vitality.
Clinical: Diarrhoea. Diplopia. Dysentery. Headaches. Haemorrhages. Leucorrhoea. Migraines. Ptosis. Stool, ineffectual. Throat, sore. Ulcers. Vomiting.
