Baryta carbonica:

This remedy is of great help in scrofulous children who are sluggish mentally and dwarf physically. It is of great use in person’s subject to quinsy and always have enlarged swollen tonsils and submaxillary glands. Also indicated in diseases of old men in whom degenerative changes occur accompanied by hypertrophied prostate or indurated testes enlarged mesenteric glands.

Baryta carbonica acts on the muscular coats of heart and vessels. It is of clinical aid in arterial fibrosis, aneurysms, vessel ruptures and apoplexy. In cases of enlarged and swollen glands around the ears, this drug has proved to be of great use.

Foetid foot sweat is one of the major indication for using Baryta carbonica. This remedy is also useful in the treatment of Chronic aphonia.
