Action of Ingredients:

Aesculus hip.- The action of this drug is most marked on the lower bowel, producing engorged Haemorrhoidal veins, Venous stasis general, Varicose veins of purple color.

Belladonna- Belladonna acts upon every part of the nervous system, producing active congestion. It has a marked action on the vascular system.

Calcarea fluor.- Chief remedy for vascular tumors with dilated blood-vessels and for Varicose or enlarged veins.

Carduus mar.- Has specific relation to the vascular system, Varicose veins and Ulcers. Broken or hard thrombosed veins. Itching on lying down at night. Eruption on lower part of sternum.

Hamamelis vir.- Venous congestion, haemorrhages, Varicose veins, and Haemorrhoids with bruised soreness of affected parts. Acts upon the coats of the veins causing relaxation with consequent engorgement.

Mezereum- Eczema; intolerable itching; chilliness with pruritus; worse in bed. Ulcers itch and burn, surrounded by vesicles and shining, fiery-red areola. Zona with burning pain. Eruptions ulcerate and form thick scabs under purulent matter exudes.

Zincum met.- Varicose veins, especially of lower extremities. Formication of feet and legs as from bugs crawling over the skin, preventing sleep. Eczema, especially in the anaemic and neurotic. Itching of thighs and hollow of knees. Retrocession of eruptions.

Secale cor.- Dry gangrene, developing slowly. Varicose ulcers. Burning sensation; better by cold; wants parts uncovered, though cold to touch.

Acidum hydro fluor.- Complaints of old age, or the prematurely aged, with weak, distended blood vessels. Varicose veins. Naevi. Ulcers; red edges and vesicles. Decubitus; worse, warmth.

Advice: Complementary Remedies:

B5 to strengthen the Heart in case of Thrombosis and threatened embolism.

B6 for acute inflammation.

B46 and B55 in affections of the abdomen or after childbirth.

Vein Tablets: Varicose veins are enlarged veins that are swollen and raised above the surface of the skin. They can be dark purple or blue and look twisted and bulging. Varicose veins are commonly found on the back of the calves or on the inside of the leg. They develop when valves in the veins that allow blood to flow toward the heart stop working properly.

Composition: Aesculus hippocastanum 3x, Belladonna 3x, Calcarea fluorica 8x, Carduus marianus 2x, Hamamelis virginica 3x, Mezereum 12x, Zincum metallicum 8x, Secale cornutum 5x, Acidum hydro fluoricum 5x.

Indications: Helps relieve symptoms of venous stasis in any part of the body particularly in lower limbs as in Varicose veins and associated Eczema.

Dosage: Take 2 tabs., 3 times a day before meals. In case of acute inflammation & Eczema, take dose every ½ - 1 hour or as prescribed by the physician.
