Action of Medicine:

This remedy is indicated in cases of portal congestion and haemorrhoids with a constant aching pain in the sacro-lumbar region, which affects the sacrum and hips. The haemorrhoids project from the rectum. They are of a bluish - purple color, are accompanied with sharp, shooting, cutting pains and severe aching in the sacral region.
In prostatitis it relieves the dryness and heat that are present in some cases. It has a most favourable action upon a dull backache; the pain is most intense in the sacro-lumbar region. Jaundice with abdominal and pelvic congestions.
