Action of Medicine:

• This drug is indicated in plethoric persons in the first stage of inflammation before localization and exudation have occurred and is marked by redness, dryness, heat, and severe pains.
• Physical and mental restlessness and fright is the most characteristic manifestation of Aconite.
• On rising the red face becomes deathly pale, or he becomes dizzy.
• Vomiting, with fear, heat, profuse sweat, and increased urination.
• Hoarse, dry, croupy cough; loud, labored breathing.
• Fever; Cold sweat and icy coldness of face with alternate heat. Thirst and restlessness.
• Worse- in a warm room, in evening and night, from music, from tobacco smoke, dry, cold winds.
• Better- in the open air.
