Action of Medicine:

• Its chief action is on the external tissues of the eyes and nasopharynx, joint surfaces, liver and mucous membranes.
• Nasal secretion is viscous, yellow evil-smelling.

• Pain in the liver with bouts of nausea and a jaundiced complexion.
