Action of Medicine:

• Especially adapted to the strumous diathesis, psoric or tuberculous persons, are prone to catarrhal affections of the throat and respiratory mucus membranes with extremely weak vitality.
• Painless diphtheria when the patient the first seems doomed, and the most carefully selected remedies fail to relieve or permanently improve.
• Patient too weak and apathetic to complain.
• Dark red swelling of tonsils and palatine arches. Parotid and cervical glands are greatly swollen with thick dark grey or brownish-black diphtheritic membrane.
• Breath and discharges from the throat, nose, and mouth are very offensive.
• Epistaxis with diphtheria.
• Better- from cold, drinking milk in sips, by heat, and in bed. Worse- from movement.
