Action of Medicine: This remedy is indicated in various forms of skin diseases of head, face, and neck, when there is a moist, offensive eruption which forms a greyish white crust. The lymph glands receiving the lymph of the parts are swollen, and may suppurate. It is useful in tinea capitis, crusta lactea, and various forms of eczema. It has a favourable action in the relief of boils about the face, and styes; also boils over the body; as well as in the swelling and suppuration of the axillary glands.
It is indicated in cases of polyuria with pain in the bladder following urination, in those afflicted with offensive skin eruption. In derangements of the pelvic organs of the female, it is of service when there is a sensation of soreness, as if bruised, in the uterine region. There is relaxation and a lack of tone to the pelvic structures.
