Action of Medicine:

• Suited to persons who are inclined to be fleshy with weak lungs.
• It is a vasomotor stimulant which spends its force mainly upon the pneumogastric nerve, producing a depressed relaxed condition with oppression of the chest.
• Languor, relaxation of muscles, nausea, vomiting and dyspepsia are the general indications that point to the use of this remedy, in asthma and gastric affections.
• Spasmodic asthma, pertusis, with dyspnoea threatening suffocation.
• Faintness and weakness at epigastrium with profuse salivation and good appetite.
• Pain in sacrum, cannot bear slightest touch.
• Worse- tobacco, afternoon, slightest motion, cold, especially cold washing. Better- by rapid walking; (chest pain), toward evening, and from warmth.
